About Dog Year Day

Dog Year Day is the special day when you and your dog are the same age. Because dogs age differently than humans, there's only ONE day in both of your entire lives when your ages perfectly align.

This calculation uses a simple 7:1 ratio that assumes dogs age at 7 human years per 1 dog year. In fact, according to modern research, the aging process is more complex and varies by breed and size.
